Hey Alvaron -

Thanks for keeping me on the list. It's always great to know who's who, what's going on, etc., esp. when it's time to hire players for things, get subs, etc. I guess you got my email address from someone on the roster, one of the orchestras I play in, or some USC connection?

Right now I'm orchestrating a 90-minute show for a group called The Leading Ladies - http://www.theleadingladies.com , and I frequently hire other players for live shows.

Thank you so much for sending me the roster. What a help that will be. I need a bass player for October 13 for a concert in Pasadena. It is sort of a gospel program, and although there will be charts, I need someone that is used to that kind of music.  Your list has seven bass players, so I don't know where to start. Any suggestions, or do I just start at the top of the list?

My goodness, what a gift! Thank you so much for the roster you faxed to me. Your timing is amazing, as I am right now updating my roster of musicians. I direct the music program here at OLA. Since I began directing here, we have had many needs for musicians - for funerals, weddings, Sunday liturgies, concerts, etc. I look forward to using your valuable resource!
